| The peninsula Sinai is like a bridge and a border between Egypt and Israel. It’s a very diverse desert area and is very difficult to pass through because of the gigantic and deeply fissured rock face. The magnificent desert landscape with its gloriously colourful canyon lures more and more tourists to the area each year. The romantic oasis in the deep valleys and the rare fish species in the coral reef on the golf of Aqaba offer a good deal of variety. For centuries, Catholics, Muslims and Jews alike went to the Sinai on pilgrimage. Its interesting religious history still attracts many people to this area. In the north, the peninsula is flat and sandy, the mountain range in the south reaches heights of up to 2600 meters. The friendly hotel with its original architecture was finished in November 1997 and has over 18 large, bright rooms. All of them consist of a shower, bathroom, ventilation and a balcony. The grounds are considered to be the most beautiful place here, are right next to the beach and only two walking minutes away from the centre by foot. A sunny terrace and a private sand beach are available for hotel guests. This is the ideal setting for uncomplicated guests who like a cosy and private atmosphere. By car, the hotel is only one hour away from the Sharm El Sheik airport. The Iyengar Yoga courses are the newest highlight being offered by the Blue Beach Club Dahab. The special atmosphere and deep serenity of the desert present an excellent environment for these courses. With Mary Niker as your teacher, your Yoga sojourn by the Red Sea will be an enriched and unforgettable experience. The Blue Beach Club, a small oasis in Dahab, offers the ideal setting for Yoga courses. |
